Effective from 1 July 2026
At Clear Island Waters Health Precinct, we are a Mixed Billing General Practice. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare while keeping our fees transparent. Medicare rebates are available for eligible patients holding a valid Medicare card.

Patients aged 75 years and over with a Pensioner Concession Card may be eligible for bulk billing. Patients under 75 years are privately billed.
Pensioner Concession Card holders under 75 years incur a $30 out-of-pocket fee for standard acupuncture.

Appointments are structured to provide adequate time according to the complexity of your healthcare needs.

Appointment Information
A grace period of up to 5 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time is allowed. If the consultation extends beyond this period, the applicable extended consultation fee (e.g. Standard+ or Long+) will apply.
New Patient Consultation Deposit fee required
All new patient appointments require a $100 deposit to secure the allocated 40-minute consultation time.
The appointment is only confirmed once: – The patient has reviewed the New Patient Appointment Deposit Agreement; and
– The $100 deposit has been successfully processed.
If the deposit is not paid, the appointment will be released.
- How the Deposit Is Applied
The $100 deposit is not an additional fee.
If you attend as scheduled, the full $100 is credited toward my consultation fee and you pay the remaining balance at end of consultation.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled after 3pm the day before your appointment will incur a $50 cancellation fee per 20-minute appointment block. This fee is non-refundable but may be credited towards your next appointment.
New Patients
New patient appointments are a minimum of 40 minutes. Minimum consultation fee: $350.00.
Please note: New patients are privately billed regardless of age, Pensioner Concession Card status or appointment length. Bulk billing remains at Dr Max Po’s discretion.
Other Private Services

- Procedures not fully covered by Medicare

- Patients without a valid Medicare card are responsible for payment of the full consultation fee.
