Covid-19 Symptoms
Our priority during the Covid-19 pandemic is the safety of our patients and staff. For this reason, we are unable to see you in the clinic if you are experiencing respiratory (cold/flulike) symptoms. It is important that you let our receptionist know at the time of making your appointment if you have ANY of the below symptoms.
- Fever
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
- Runny nose
- Fatigue
- Diarrhoea
- Vomiting or nausea
- Loss of smell and/or taste
What happens if you have any of the above symptoms?
Bulk billed Telehealth appointments are available to our patients if they have been seen face to face in the clinic in the past twelve months. If you have not been seen in the past twelve months, but are a patient of ours and wish to have an appointment, you can have a private telehealth appointment, which will cost $85.00 and must be paid on the day.
Alternatively, you can contact your nearest respiratory clinic for a face to face appointment with a doctor. Click the following hyperlink for more information.

Vaccinations
The Clear Island Waters Health Precinct is an approved COVID-19 vaccination provider. The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) recommends the Pfizer vaccine as the preferred vaccine for people aged 16 to 59 years, but the AstraZeneca vaccine can also be provided to those aged 18-59.
On 5 December 2021, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) provisionally approved the Comirnaty (Pfizer) vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years. We can make these appointments from the 10th January 2022. For information click the following hyperlink
Masks
Masks are required whilst in the clinic. This is our private practice condition of entry. If you arrive without one, please ask for one from reception upon your arrival. Thank you!
One additional person only for all consultations
To reduce the risk to staff and other patients, we kindly ask that only one person attend the consultation with you.
Zero abuse policy
We understand that these are trying times, but please treat our staff with respect at all times. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to abuse of any kind towards our staff. Aggressive and violent behaviour will not be tolerated.
